I Got Lucky …
Early last week I was driving and wanted to turnaround and go back the other way, I found a little dirt road that I could use to turn around. As I got half way through the turn I saw the dirt road went up a hill and out of sight, this of course got me needing to know what was up that dirt road.

The road didn’t go far but it did give me this amazing view of the Seven Sisters, a view I had never seen before. This was early in the day so I knew to get the photo I needed to come back when the sun was in the west and lighting up this beautiful landscape, so I made a plan … that doesn’t happen often these days!

I planned to return in the afternoon a couple of days later when there was forecast nice clouds etc, so I returned as planned and to my surprise it all went to plan. This photo is the result of seven vertical images stitched together to create this panorama, I love panoramas, and am very happy with the result. I hope you enjoy this ‘alternative’ view of our iconic Seven Sisters.
